A retreat is the perfect opportunity to share your personal experiences with your colleagues and learn from each other. The “sharing” is powerful! Retreats are scheduled at least once every three years to refresh Global Protocol® licensed Facilitators to ensure their materials are current. Our retreats cover presentation skills, business development, and curriculum updates.
Post Training Bonus
Our first retreat was held in honor of Letitia Baldrige, author and etiquette/protocol historian (center) at the Four Seasons in Washington D.C. This was an amazing the opportunity to meet experts from other states and countries, as we dined with the gracious Letitia Baldrige, who allowed us to call her “Tish.” (Sadly, Letitia passed away a few years later.)
Letitia Baldrige, author, etiquette adviser, and business executive, became a household name as Jacqueline Kennedy’s White House chief of staff. (Autobiography: “A Lady, First: My Life in the Kennedy White House and the American Embassies of Paris and Rome.”)
I am honored to note that my book, “Dining Strategies for Building and Sustaining Business Relationships” was the last book that Letitia endorsed. Letitia was my mentor and inspiration! Thank you Tish! ꟷGloria Petersen, Author
We become true experts by learning from each other.
When possible, our retreats incorporate representatives from industry-related associations to maximize learning opportunities and interaction with other professionals. Every effort is made to hold a retreat conjunction with other industry-related associations and forums. For example: International Society of Protocol and Etiquette Professionals | PDI-POA Protocol Officers Association | Association of Image Consultants International | Professional Speakers Association.
Licensees are encouraged to participate in our Global Protocol® Webinar Forums (i.e., SKYPE or ZOOM). This will open the door to interacting with other Global Protocol® licensees and qualified experts in a web dialogue format. The purpose of the forum is to exchange ideas, further your knowledge and to create a special bond with your colleagues. To broaden the international scope of the site, special guests are invited to participate.
